Safety Relief Valve

About The Product

Safety Relief Valve (VYN-SRV Series) The technical specification of a safety relief valve (SRV) is defined by its ability to protect pressurized systems from catastrophic failure by automatically discharging media when internal pressure exceeds a predetermined limit.

These specifications are governed by international standards, most notably ASME Section I and VIII for boilers and pressure vessels, and API 520/526/527 for refinery and oil/gas applications. Key parameters include the set pressure (where the valve begins to open), overpressure (the pressure increase above set point to reach full lift), and blowdown (the pressure drop required for the valve to re-seat).

Safety Relief Valve
Model Number:VYN-SRVF-10 Series

Features

    Automatic Operation

  • Opens automatically when pressure exceeds set limit
  • No external power or operator required
  • Fast Response (Pop Action)

  • For gas/steam service, valve opens instantly (pop action)
  • Prevents rapid pressure buildup and potential failure
  • Self-Closing (Reseating)

  • Valve reseats automatically once pressure drops
  • Controlled by blowdown setting
